What is Soda Water?

Soda water is carbonated water, this means infusing water with with carbon dioxide gas under pressure. This produces a bubbly drink that works perfectly with cocktails and as a general mixer. Within our Soda Water Bottles and Cans we add a hint of salt. This gives it that extra wham and make your cocktails even better.

History of Soda Water

Soda Water is carbonated water, created either artificially or naturally. The natural method is centuries old and works using fermentation. you'll find this method in beers, champagne, cider etc before the creation of soda water.

William Borwnrigg created in the 1740's the soda water we know and love today. However, there have been many different methods and examples of first creators and changes. All we know for sure is the soda water cocktails are fantastic!

Very Nice!

Really nice low calorie lemonade option. My wife likes Gin and Lemonade but often finds them too sweet. This is the exception and a great alternative for people who don't want tonic.

What Should I Mix My Double Dutch With?

Everything! Or nothing! Or somewhere in the middle. If you’re looking for a little drinking inspiration why not check out our flavour wheel. We absolutely love a G+T but we certainly don’t just pair with gin. Why not try our Pomegranate and Basil with tequila or vodka, or our Cranberry and Ginger with dark rum or cognac. Dive on in to flavourful drinking!

Do You Use Quinine?

We definitely think the bitterness of quinine has a time and a place – so we only use quinine in our Indian Tonic Water, Skinny Tonic and Cranberry and Ginger tonic. All our other flavours are quinine free. You can read about each drink’s individual flavour profiles here.
